Cowl Tag 01A X33, Is it original or for entertainment purposes?

Does this 01A X33 Cowl Tag and the stamping on the engine block look to be original?
Does the placement of the Z/28 emblem on the front fender look to be correct?

The rear one is the one that counts for 'registration purposes';  the front one appears to be an older 'vanity' plate (302 DZ)... in many states you can run whatever you want on the front...

I thought someone would have commented that the rear sway bar was added to this 1969 Camaro.  As for the license plates, I've had the California Highway Patrol check to see if my 1998 Z28 had a front license plate as I drove down the freeway as it is required in CA.

... and I know many people who drive later model corvettes who *refuse* to run front plates, even in California.   Their position is that they will 'take their chances' on a ticket...

It's mandatory to have a front plate in Nevada also. However they won't pull you over too often.

I haven't run front license plate on many of my cars here in California, never been hassled about it.

No front tag law in NC. You can even run whatever on the rear as long as you have a legal tag in the car on antique cars.
