Late March 69 Pace car original under body photos wanted -
« on: December 20, 2020, 10:39:51 PM »
I am looking for some photos of original cars - unrestored - of the rear frame rails and trunk drops rear inner tailpan area, for the sealers  and amount of overspray on the galvanized finish of the trunk drops and rear inner tailpan?

And also overspray paint coverage of the lower rockers, which I believe is better than on the average car because the overspray on the under side floors of pace cars is WELL above that on even a late march White coupe.

why would the overspray be different on a pacecar?

I want to see if original paint rockers, lower tail pan lips and wheel openings have better coverage than other cars built in the same time period. The floor pans HAVE WAY MORE OVERSPRAY than I have normally seen on other Norwood cars.

I can't believe there would be a difference by model.

Here's a shot I have of a low mileage original Pace Car rocker. looks pretty heavy to me. It's an 04C car

I wish I had more undercarriage shots. i got these photos 10 years ago from someone who had just bought this car from the original owner. He had commented on the overspray and sent that shot to show it. Here's a couple more shots of the car

Not "late March."

Was final-assembled on or about April 18, 1969.
