Trunk mat verification
« on: September 16, 2020, 02:04:07 AM »
How do you determine if a trunk mat is a reproduction or original? The only markings I can find on the back is a small rectangle with the numbers 9293 stamped in. Thanks again for any help.

What a pain.

:)   Getting the trunk mat to photograph?   or reducing the image size?   :)

I like the trunk mat, so I'd suggest taking care of it...

PS.  there seems to be a tendency for the mats to collect condensation under them, which can cause rust in the trunk floor...?

Both! I've got this thing listed for sale for my buddy and it would definitely make a difference if it is real or not. Looking at the pics in the link I do have the 9293 which makes me think it is a GM part. Do you guys feel the same or am I reading that wrong. And yes, the rubber was terrible to the trunk.
