Im teaching my wife to restore my 1969 Camaro!
« on: July 15, 2020, 05:48:30 PM »
So I'm getting my wife involved in the restoration of our 1969 Camaro convertible. We have a YouTube channel documenting the process..

Good luck with that. After almost 50 years of marriage I've found it better they not know how much things cost.

I'm envious.  Looks like you found a good one.  All mine does is complain that I spend too much time and $ on the Camaro's.  But it wasn't an issue before that marriage license was issued, lol.  Time to trade up to one with a better disposition.  Everyone tells me that divorces are expensive because they are worth it!

Actually she seems to be more understanding of the parts and supplies I buy now that she is involved in it... We shall see if it lasts.

Good for you both!
My wife was very supportive of my hobby, in fact she encouraged me to buy the car even while I was hesitant because of the size of the project. Only downfall is that given her support and understanding, I can't really complain about any of her indulgences....... but not that she has too many; it's a good partnership.

It's called revenge spending. It takes a while for them to get around to it, but it will happen.

Your wife (hot girl) is extremely well spoken, and uses good terminology (better than most male car crafters!)... which makes me believe she may have been a school teacher before she changed professions and went into Camaro Restoration...  :)

Yes, she is well spoken and learning more each day about the restoration hobby. When we started she was worried that she did not know what she was talking about. Actually I am the school teacher around here!
She appreciated your comment..
