Their new website design seemed to present a steep learning curve for many of the members.  A TR6 site I frequent went through a similar situation a few months ago.

Their new format is going to cause some members to stop posting on those sites.

I stopped a long time ago.  Advertisements and just the general conversations turned me away.

That same owner has apparently purchased and changed the platform for trifive.com ...  Too bad.  Their sole interests seems to be in running ADS in between posts, down the sides, etc.. but their changing the format is running many away.   I can't stomach it at Team Camaro or Trifive... hopefully this one won't go that way?

We have no plans to change anything radical on this site.

I haven't gone to team camaro for years. The sight wouldn't recognize my password and wouldn't let me reset it. As a result I quite going there. It's too bad as I used to enjoy it but perhaps I'm better off without it. I'll just stick to here and Nastyz28 for second gen stuff.

I still go there from time to time, mainly to check on Lloyd’s excellent build thread. There are some great people over there, but the site ownership changes, being bombarded with ads and sponsors banners have taken it in a direction that I’m enjoying less and less.

I used to visit to read the mail, but there is a learning curve in navigating the new web design that I'm not willing to invest the time in. The political stuff doesn't bother me. I can take as good as I get or just ignore it.
