Caveat Emptor...another repro body tag

124379N527399

From the ad:
"1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 This is a frame off rotisserie restored real X33 car with a numbers matching 302."

"Features include smooth running and sound numbers match 302 V8 casting number 3956618."

N527399 was final-assembled on or about October 21, 1968. That's 11 weeks prior to the 01B date on the body tag and 7 weeks prior to the 3956618 block casting entering production. Tag has incorrect 72 72 paint code.

You be the judge.

The Yelp reviews on that place are scary.

I never realized production was so frenetic. My 01C X77 is one week and over 50,000 cars later according to the VIN, yet the body sequence is only about 10,000 off. Strange to be sure -

The body tag on the car on ebay is a repro. A car built in October '68 would not have that body/confirmation number.
