It's amazing how popular white wall tires were & how they changed the look. Also noted. I don't think I saw a ducted hood except on the pace cars & not many spoilers.....unlike todays car shows :)

I noticed the photo for Ed Priester Chevrolet had a strange combination.  A '69 coupe (apparently new) sitting on the showroom floor...with Rally-Sport side script and an SS hood.  Engine ID emblems appear to my old eyes to be 327.  If so, then an early '69.
Dealer addition or ????

Thanks.  Someone named "Jaybird" has been researching these yearbooks and compiling them at his blog for several years.  He updates his blog with new findings regularly.  Click on the following link to see all of the other makes and models: https://annualmobiles.blogspot.com/

I agree Joe, I also noticed the 2 pace cars with the ZL-2 hood. Love the white walls. I really like the representation of the DX-1 striping. Also the pin striping above the wheel openings, and when was the last time you saw a 69 SS Camaro running wire wheel hubcaps? Or any full hub caps? very cool.
And while I appreciate and lived the Muscle Car scene of my youth with the mods and speed parts, I really like seeing the cars before they had owners make the cars more personal. Kind of gives the perspective of the blank canvas, that Chevrolet provided. Years later people are removing all the personal touches made over the years, and going back to a clean slate.  What is old is new again...

Interesting to see how many of the featured cars had D96 pinstripes. Very nice collection of pictures! Thanks for sharing.
