Im new to site ,so dont beat me up LOL.
Hope all are well.
In April/may of 69 the D80 was standard on the z-28 package ?
.Was the D80 applied to the trim tag at that time ?(NORWOOD CARS)
Or was the D80 applied to the trim tag when it was still a option prior to April 69?

As of the end of March/early April, spoilers were included with Z/28 equipment. They no longer appear on documentation. The option msrp increased to $506.60. D80 was not added to Norwood body tags at that time. We don't generally discuss body tag specifics.

Only nice people here Mr. Posi. Feel free to ask questions.

FWIW if someone out there has a Z/28 doc in the VIN range N623xxx-N628xxx I would like to see it.

There is a long discussion on D80 tags and the theory of why it appeared...
I posited the theory that it had to do with the moving of the FIREBIRD and THUS TRANS AM production to NORWOOD in late April/May of 1969. The Trans Am rear spoiler would not cover the lower prepunched holes for the CAMARO by Chevrolet name plate.
