Vinyl top seams
« on: February 03, 2020, 10:46:30 AM »
Hello all, have a fairly new vinyl top that the seams appear to be lifting, not from the body but the folded edge. The folded edges appear to be lifting and not tight. I have searched quite a few forums and watched a ton of youtube videos on install and or repair, but nothing on what I have going on. I was thinking about ordering a model airplane heat sealer iron with a teflon foot to try no retrain the edge tight. Anyone have any knowledge on this? Attached is some pics...

Its a classic industries top... Those guys are not much help with anything. I have talked to their tech guys. Classic industries is 1 mile from my door. Early on they said they would exchange it, dont have the stomach to remove it since its on perfectly, minus the seams
