How many Z10's were produce with big blocks ? I was told there were only 75 is this correct?

Maybe, maybe not. No one knows for sure. Chevrolet didn't keep those kinds of records but poeple LOVE to make up numbers!

However, fcs66 from our site may have some information on this, so hopefully he'll chime in. In the meantime, read THIS.

We DO know that "most" Z10's were equipped with the L48 (350/300 engine, so it's hard to say.

Unfortunately there is no breakdown for engine info by model or for Z10/Z11. It’s just not that granular.
Strangely also Z10 and Z11 options codes are not even listed ....

A good guestimate is about the same as the Z11's, about 15-20%. That's based on the Z10's in the database.

In that case, if there were 450 to 500 Z10's built, then 15 to 20 percent of that would be big blocks. So we're looking at anywhere between 65 and 100. Of course, these are all estimates and the numbers could be higher or lower. We'll probably never know.

I know of 30+, so I would go with the higher range.....
