Hi all -
I'm thinking of ordering some OE natural steel brake lines and the company notes that there are different brake line kits for 1968 Camaros with serial numbers above 135,000 vs those with serial numbers below 135,000. I have a 1968 standard coupe base model 327/210 hp Camaro built in Norwood, Ohio on May 14, 1968 with drum brakes all around and VIN number 124378N432654. I understand that the production dates for 1968 Camaros in Norwood were August 1967 to July 1968 and that 235,147 1968 model Camaros were built at the Norwood plant. In researching the topic, I also learned that Chevrolet started the vehicle series with 300001 for all 1968 Camaro models. So my question is whether my car is below 135,000 or above 135,000 on the serial number so I order the correct brake lines. Many thanks to the experts who can point me in the right direction. GWP4
