I had several people I wanted to meet while I was making my first visit to this show. I was able to meet about 1/2 of those & that was on Thursday & Friday. Saturday was impossible & had to be at the airport Sunday morning. Show was awesome. Swap meet had some interesting items for sale but not many.
I will return next year for sure. I hope to have the y/y 396 car done to take. It will be expensive to take it but I will try to do it once....Joe
Great, awesome show! Just sorry I did not get to meet Joe and Jon Mello, and several more I cannot name all. But so fortunate to meet the ones that I did. I had my name on my shirt, so no excuse for not being able to find me.

Great seeing and talking to Chick forever... what an incredible 69 L78 Nova he had at the show which he bought new, the original paint was incredible.
The pilot 69 Z of Larry's... too many cars to note...
The 67 L88 corvettes...
The 69 Z trans Am race car that Jeff has been restoring. WOW

James,  I'm hoping that you or someone took photos of the TransAm car of Jeff's... and post them here?  :)

I did take a few... I was with Dave Beem and he crawled over the rails and was looking all over the car, I don't know Jeff and there were so many people straining to look I didn't want others to take me crawling over as an invitation...

PERSONALLY  I love trans am race cars-because without the SCCA TRANS AM series there would never have been a street Z28.

X2

I have this show on my bucket list. I am waiting for Gary to get his 69Z ready for it though...😁 My unrestored 69Z is only a few hours away from there, let me know when you're ready Gary.

Actually I still need to meet up with Bentley for the tail pipes, and locate a few items. (rear shocks, battery cable, battery, hood insulation)

I would love to see Skips car up close, or Warrens for that matter. Looks like many unrestored vehicles to awe over. (Love the pics on that yenko thread)

I didn't take a single photo of the race car... I tried to get in friday afternoon to take pictures when there were no spectators, but I didn't have a pass and dave wasn't showing this year.

I hope someone took a photo of Jeff Makovich's 69 TA car...  I sold him a set of ARE magnesium wheels that I'd had for 35 yrs (which came off Bob Christiansen's 69 z28 TA car) so I'm hoping to see them put to good use.. :)

I tried to get more of that Trans AM car but there was too many people around it on Saturday, but did get an under the hood shot. I was back to get more but was interrupted and that dragged me away with another visit. I got a host of shots of Warren's car and a couple of Skip's as well as many others. Here's a few to wet your appetites.

Just an obsessive-compulsive first gen car guy...

did I mention I like three pedals in a car?

Super thanks for the many compliments concerning the Nova and it was a pleasure meeting so many members this year. We need to have some happy hour get together next year! Yep, great bunch for sure and glad for the opportunity. And Warren’s car is just insane and thanks Warren for our conversations! So much more to learn. LOL
Thanks again....

The TA race car had 8" wide 1969 corvette Rally's on it... I heard Jeff make the statement.

What a GREAT Show.  Some Many spectacular rides to see.  A two day visit really helps with photos on the latter day w/ the crowds. I sure enjoyed the Orange prototype car presentations w/ Larry. Saw John M & Chick, but would a table sign (DoubleTree) at the meet & greet be  a nice ice breaker location?
There is just so much going on and to do in a short time.

Here is  a side shot of the 69'

* as a side note we made a trip into town for the Fields natural history museum and was amazed at T-REX "SUE" exhibit and matching Prime rib steak downtown at Millers Pub on Wabash.
