I am really looking forward to making this my first MCACN.  Long over due.  Look for me in a RGR shirt with my photo on the back (big red beard).  ;D. Stop me and say hey or avoid me like the plague..  lol. Whichever I don’t care.   8)

I'll be wearing my Legends shirt or a 69 Pace Car sweat shirt. Hope to see old friends and meet new folks. Everyone have a safe trip.

Warrens car sounds like the fan favorite. It seems like he had been collecting parts for the cross ram for years. Hopefully someone can post multiple pics of it.
Maybe Warren can start a thread just for that car with the history.

Good to see you chime in James, thought you were buried in your shop... :)

I have been buried alive, although this year I made the Camaro Nationals, the NCRS nationals, NCRS Ohio Regionals and NCRS chapter meet in Atlanta. Along with Charlotte Speedway spring and fall - damn I thought I had been stuck at home ALL YEAR!

I have been painting a Hugger Orange COPO, getting ready for a Fathom Green 69 Z for paint, and correcting some paint issues on a LT1 Corvette as well as finishing the 73 RS LT Z28 PLUS steadily correcting the last 1-2% I can get out of my LT1 so I can get my DUNTOV award.

Great seeing and talking to Chick forever... what an incredible 69 L78 Nova he had at the show which he bought new, the original paint was incredible.
The pilot 69 Z of Larry's... too many cars to note...
The 67 L88 corvettes...
The 69 Z trans Am race car that Jeff has been restoring. WOW

I’ll add them here tomorrow. I spent today trying to get caught up on work I didn’t get done while at MCACN.  I met a lot of guys from the forums and made some new friends.  Even one special member gave me a warm welcome of giving me the hand gesture that I was “number 1”.   ;D. James sorry I missed you.  If I wasn’t standing around my buddies original paint 69 L78 blk Nova, HO & DY COPO’s in the Day 2 section then I was in the vintage cert area taking photos and talking to owners. Also met your buddy Rich (RichSS2006).  Very cool and nice guy and his buddy which his name now escapes me..  Sorry.  Met many members and all that I talked to were really great guys.  Thanks for taking the few minutes and bs’ing with me.  I appreciated it.  Warren’s Z and Chick’s Nova were both unbelievable and original paint cars.

It was a fun show. Great to see such original cars and friends from all over. Darrell walked away from Warren's car cause he thought it was a repaint, the paint is that nice!
The show is big and you have to figure out how you are going to see it. I never saw half of it cause I decided I'd rather talk and learn than cruise the show. About 5-6pm, the crowds left and that made it much easier to see more of the cars, but I never saw the 67 L88's, nor James!

I had several people I wanted to meet while I was making my first visit to this show. I was able to meet about 1/2 of those & that was on Thursday & Friday. Saturday was impossible & had to be at the airport Sunday morning. Show was awesome. Swap meet had some interesting items for sale but not many.
I will return next year for sure. I hope to have the y/y 396 car done to take. It will be expensive to take it but I will try to do it once....Joe

Yeah, I hope Warren takes that as a compliment and not an insult..  When I was making my rounds on Friday before the boards were up and the car was sitting there I walked up to it and thought,  "Oh nice restored car" and kept walking towards the vintage cert area.  Later when I ran into Kurt, I realized it was Warren's car and it was actually original paint!!  The black and silver were extremely nice.  I was blown away.  Benny's 69 white L78 was really cool to see with some neat little options and quirks about it and also the LB 69 L78 car was really nice as well (sorry I met the owner but I can not remember his name, super nice guy).  Thanks again to Chick for helping out with getting me one of the parts I have needed for a looooong time.  Great show, Friday was pretty chaotic but by the end of the day and start of Saturday it was a different story.  I had a blast.
