Trans cooler
« on: September 04, 2019, 06:36:30 AM »
Hey guys, I have a 67 rs Camero I took apart with Dad thirty years ago.  I’m finally restoring it and found a beat up dinky little trans cooler in the trunk but have no memory if it was in the car or just junk from my Dads hoarding lol.
Would my power glide have had a separate trans cooler and if so where and how would it be mounted...the one I found seems to be attached to garage door opener type metal brackets with the round holes.
Seems strange.
Thank you.😊

No, the transmission cooler for automatic cars was built into the radiator.
