If the block and crank were ok that was a GOOD price.

It's a good price if that happens to be the block for YOUR car, but other than that it's "just a bare block" and worth maybe a few hundred dollars. Just because it has an MO stamp means squat to me since I don't own 124378L335981!

And of course this is only my opinion.
