“1 of 1” Z11??
« on: July 05, 2019, 05:09:52 AM »
Found this car on CL - LOS Z-11.

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rch/cto/d/new-westminster-1969-chevrolet-camaro/6923539985.html

The ad states “Extremely rare trim tag, not your average Z11 (1 of 1) with the numbers posted on my trim/data tag. Please decode and research“

Am I missing something here?

More like 1 of 500 or so. From the CRG Pacer and Z10 Report:
Quote
Analysis of the CRG database indicates that a little over 85% (~3200) of the pace cars were from Norwood and a little under 15% (~500) were from Los Angeles, which is comparable to the overall plant production volume ratios.
CAN$100,000 is nearing US$80,000 so would be interested in opinions on the (poor) pad stamp photo.....

What really proves it is a pace car? The add says pace car trim.

If you believe the trim tag is a real one, then do the 720 TRIM and 50 A Paint codes prove it?   Did any of the VN 'pace cars' have the Z11 stamp?

124679L527268 and it looks good to me (other than the stupid PTB stamp which shouldn't be there, and a few other incorrect things.) 1 of 1? Hardly. We have several LA pacers in the database.

Pad is good. It's a pacer from the tag.
Lots of little errors on the car.

"with the numbers posted on my trim/data tag"

This is Correct it IS one of one, (with those exact numbers)

I kinda like this car. I would be dropping the tank for the sheet (LA Car)

Do I see a Defroster switch left of the power top?

My Norwood Z11 was built during the same week (03D) if I read that tag correctly. I was a little curious to see what the build date on my Z11 was in comparison, Norwood is a little closer than LA to Tonawanda -

Forgive the crud, car is a driver -
