The last digit appears to be a '1'...      so 124379N666691     Since GN1220 has attempted to post the VIn and other data, I'll post here the VIN plate and cowl plate he sent me..   Appears to me to be a pretty nice Camaro, in spite of the Ford Caution sticker..     Frost green over midnight green...  pretty colors!~

I thought GN1220 was going to send me better photos of the 'orphan engine' which began this thread, but instead he sent me the photos of his friend's Z28... and asked me to post them for him.

Thank you Gary. I have yet to see the bare block in person to get better pictures but I will as soon as I can. For now I wanted to get the pictures of the trim tag and VIN from the engine currently in the car so those can be added to your database in case someone is looking for a car to go with their engine or looking for the engine currently in the car. If I've clogged this thread up with a bunch of useless information I apologize and ask the mods to clear it out as needed.

That "caution fan" sticker is one of the longest running jokes on this site. So many guys have them on their Camaros. Mostly over restored cars.

I agree with Gary great color combo, its just missing the Midnight green vinyl top ( 59 S) the "S" is the vinyl top code.

In case he wants to make it correct according to the tag. The vinyl top would make it one of kind.

I called him out on it and he said he sent me an older picture. He then sent a newer picture with the sticker removed.  The top had been removed before they bought the car in the mid 90's.

Ok guys, I know it's been a while but I finally have the block here and can see a portion of the VIN. The numbers I can see read like this:  19     0361 I'm guessing there should be numbers in between but they can't be read if they are even there.

Late for a NOR car to have the partial on the pad..... looks like it ends in ‘011’ from Austin’s photo?

that is not the partial vin. Somebody stamped their social security number or something in the block.

The partial VIN is on the pad on the back of the block. 19  O361
Hopefully nobody needed this as its been sold.

The "caution fan" would only be correct if someone installs a Ford 302 in a Z28. LOL
