If it's yours, you can advertise it for sale, but not on this forum. This is a technical discussion/information forum, but there are other forums where you can advertise for sale.
If the engine belongs to someone else, you might put what you know into a post here in this thread you began, which would allow anyone here with interest to follow up with the owner.
PS. The VINs are extremely difficult to see/read on the cast surfaces, so whether it has been removed, or he just can't see it, is impossible for us to determine without having a 'great high resolution' image of the area. If he or someone *removed* (ie. ground away or ?) the VIN, it would have only been for one purpose - ie. to obscure the information that might have allowed the engine to be associated with the specific car it was originally installed in. Without the VIN, the block is just an '010' block with a DZ stamp...
