May 27 2019 - Memorial Day
« on: May 27, 2019, 12:55:09 PM »
I just hung my flag on my porch...

This Memorial Day morning I'm thinking about Joel, Jimmy, Danny, and other close friends who lost their lives in Vietnam... It's totally happen chance that they were the ones who lost their lives there rather than myself or you... How might some of the over 50,000 servicemen (and women) have changed the world had they lived instead of dying at such young ages in Vietnam?    and that goes for the Millions who have lost their lives at war over the years of our country.

This is a day to think about all those who lost their lives fighting for the way of life we have here in the US.

You are so right, and many came home dead inside, as well. For at least 20 years after that war ended, I spent time "talking guys back home". Interestingly,  one of the best ways to clear your mind is working on an old car...
God bless our troops in harms way today!
