Has anyone purchased lacquer paint lately? all my normal suppliers stopped selling it. Need to spray a trunk lid on a car with some paint still on the car. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes, I've purchased some within the past year (by mail order)... trying to remember the name of the company....  I may have to go to the shop to get the name.

FWIW, some states can no longer sell lacquer, especially California. Also, you most likely can't even have it shipped to those VOC compliant states. Too bad, as lacquer has a unique 'look' all its own.

Haven't purchased lacquer in a few years, but TCP Global, as mentioned above, has sold me PPG Duracryl paint, clear, and thinners for my restoration.  Only issue is they won't sell to me over the counter in California anymore...so I have to have it sent out of state and then shipped back to me...sorta a pain.

make sure to get a few tints separately in case you need to specifically match to your car.
There are specific metallic(s) which can lighten or darken - directly or on the side shift... so check everything in full spectrum light.
