1967 327 Smog Pump and Brackets Value
« on: April 08, 2019, 05:09:37 PM »
Last weekend going through the shelves and cabinets for stuff to sell at a swap meet and forgot I had a 67 smog pump off a Camaro we flipped years ago. I only have the pump w/ pulley and the two brackets to mount on the motor. Came off a 210hp 327 car. Don't know if the pump is still good, it was in a bucket when we got the car it came off of the rest of the system was long gone. What is the rough value of smog pumps? Looking to probably sell this as we don't have any 67's anymore.

I sold a 68 210hp non relief valve pump with pulley, diverter and brackets, early take-off survivor quality for about $125 on Ebay 2 years ago. Had left side tube by itself that I had to give away.

I also agree. Unless its for a 'rare' set up, its most likely a dime a dozen deal. IF I am correct, Saginaw made the smog pumps, and also contracted for the brand X manufacturers.

Thanks for the info, I was in the $150 range of thinking so wasnt too far off. It will probably end up on ebay and then hope to get $100 for it.

They're fairly plentiful on eBay and seem to go for $50-$100 for the base 327 type pump in need of a rebuild.  Pulley and brackets will increase it to the $150 you mentioned.  The L30/L48 pumps are a little more difficult to find and command a little more $$.  If the car had AC, the orange pump bracket installed at the engine plant brace would kick up the value, as those C60 pieces are harder to find.

Good to know, the car it came off of was a factory AC car, kept most of the brackets off the car as the person who bought it didnt want any of the AC stuff and had to remember which bracket went to which accessory.
