Snorkeled versus open air cleaner assemblies
« on: January 26, 2019, 02:40:22 PM »
In the 67-69 model years, did the air cleaner assemblies depend on the engine size?  Specifically, which engines got snorkel assemblies, and which engines received open air cleaners?  Were either type  available as options?

I have a 1968 396, L35, with an open air cleaner.   According to all the research I can find, this is the correct assembly.  Can anyone confirm?

That is correct for your application.  Assuming the base is correct and the screen print is still present.
