Air cleaner assembly

Don't know this guy and you'd have to examine it very closely to make sure it's what you need, but I know a lot of you guys are looking for this AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY.

On the one you reference above, Ed, the middle picture shows a black lid? FYI, I have one of those air cleaners , as, well. Not offering it for sale, but if a guy wants to pm to look at either, for reference of course , go ahead.

Yeah, if you look at the very top of pictures two and three, you can see another one (the chrome lid one and the black lid one). Looks like he has two.

He does have two available. One is in storage, the painted black one, and then the one chrome one. I talked to him a bit about it as I'm really wanting to find a 68 chrome lid in good shape so I can rechrome for my car. But he says the chrome lid he has isn't salvageable to rechrome, and I don't have the experience to tell if the condition it's in is something that can be saved. Bummer......

My car is a stick so I don't need a whole unit, just a good condition lid, so still looking. James, the one you have would be perfect, but I just couldn't utilize the base. But anyway, I chatted with him and that's the scoop. Nice guy, has a very nice looking 67.
