Engine decoding question?

I have a 69 camaro with a 396 but cant seem to find the exact engine info the # on the plate is T0211CTX there is another #on the same tag 10A149042.Thanks for any info or let me know where i can find out what i have.

10A149042 is the VIN derivative of the car this engine came out of.
1= Chevrolet
0= 1970
A= Atlanta Assembly Plant
149042= last 6 digits of the VIN
