Looks to be a 4P on Trim Tag, so SS?

RS badging on center cap of steering wheel, fuel cap, and hood would be incorrect then, probably more I missed.  So I'm thinking not, maybe an L30 if it is a 4P.  More likely a 4F remote driver side mirror but pics are distant.  Hard to tell what is on the TT in position 4.

bcmiller, I will be flying soon to check out the car. You're correct best to inspect it in person. But everything is checking out for me so far.

Are those white stripe inserts wide for a deluxe interior? They look like they are repro compared to original cars that I have seen.

Yes, I see 3L is prevalent, steering wheel button and back-up lights below bumper.

My estimate could be higher or lower depending how an inspection would turn out.

Check the most like areas for rust issues, frame rails, shock towers, subframe in addition to floors and trunk.

I thought your estimate was pretty close based on the pics presented. (hopefully that is the extent of the rust). A 67 in general will pull slightly more than a 68 (like for like). But with non original drive train, non-SS, automatic car, there isn't a lot IMO that is going to drive the price/value way up. I do like the color combo, and the RS package looks great for 67 an 68 Camaros.

Looks like someone tried to imitate the factory seat covers, probably back before they started reproducing them.

Another way to look at it is what would the car be worth all repaired to the way you want it.  Then figure how much it would cost to get there.  Figure the difference and then there is your price to pay.

But it really comes down to what you are comfortable with and what you want.  The options are great on this car. Being an automatic doesn't bother me a bit, but it may for some. Should be a great car for cruising and having fun if you get it for the right price.  Let us know how things turn out.

Thanks for the input guys. Agreed that price to pay is what I am comfortable with and a price point. Also agreed the colors on this car are very nice. Deepwater blue/white top/bright blue interior. Found out the car does have power drum brakes and folding rear seat. The interior is surely a copy job from way back before the seat covers were available. I am not sure about the top yet. Looks as if it was replaced. I will know in a couple of weeks. Those wheel covers are original P01 wire wheel covers. My understanding that they were not available with power disc brakes though. Only rally's were available with PDB according to CRG research.

Rally wheels came with J52 front disc brakes in 67. Rally wheels were not required if you had power drum brakes.

Does the car have front disc brakes?

137,163 Camaros received the P01 wheel covers in 67.

I don't have information on the brakes, only what I see in the engine compartment with the booster and master cylinder. Looks as if its power drums

Here is the vin tag for this car. Seller would not bring his price down to make a deal.
