1967 Survivor

Decent looking car with some body damage. Blackout paint on part of the rear panel - that’s not original.

I would not label it as a survivor.

Docs help - but I think it’s overpriced.

Neat car, same dealer as where mine was from, and sold about 10 days after my L48 rolled of the LOS line.  I read once that John Geer Chevrolet changed locations around 1966 or 67, so the documentation confirms where they were in late November 1966.

I don't believe the seat covers are original.  The gold factory covers had white accent striping, not black. One example of vendors selling incorrect parts.

Correct fuel cap for this early car would have the SS 350.  Some fender trim missing - crossed flags and 350.  Makes you wonder if fenders were replaced and if so, why. 

Looks like the fan shroud and driver side fender brace got butchered up a bit when someone installed a coolant recovery system.

Anyone have an opinion on the oil fill tube - painted or chrome?

 Seat covers look parchment. But they are pretty new looking along with the door panels. Looks like an am radio which should put the antenna on the rear.

 The AM radio can have a rear or front mounted antenna.

Not sure a parchment and gold interior was offered.  I think parchment factory seats and door panels would come with black carpet, dash.  Then again, if the interior was redone it could be incorrect.

I have Parchment in my '67.
Parchment has black carpet, dash, headliner, sail panels and rear package shelf.
Parchment door panels have black carpet on the lower part. Black paint on top of inner door where you rest your elbow while driving.
That looks like Parchment door panels with wrong paint on top with faded black carpet on the bottom or even gray.
Seat covers are gold or maybe even that rare yellow? Not sure.

Looking a 3rd time I think its wrong door panels with white paint on the top to help blend the door panel in. Look at how the door panels don't match the dash on the passenger side looking through the car in that one pic. Its a lot lighter. Relatively easy to fix, but howd it screwed up like that?

Understood and no problem,  just pointing out the incorrect items in case you moved on it.  More leverage for a buyer or may change their mind before they get too enamored.  I'd like to see the trim tags and anything else they can send like block stamp, maybe a few closer top end engine detail shots, etc.  The seller may have a different idea of what survivor means.

I may be wrong but I think parchment could have came with gold, or red, or a standard interior. Black may have been default if the exterior color was something with out a matching interior color. I am pretty sure I have seen parchment blue in a blue car. An example would a white car with parchment would have black while red car could have a red dash,etc.

In the sales brochure they only listed a Parchment/Black.

I own, and presently have Parchment 67's of others. Parchment and black only; no other colors were available in combination with  Parchment/Black. What you have seen is an abomination of originality.

Yellow interiors have a gold dash and gold carpet. Parchment has black dash black carpet.
