how can you tell if your 69 was built in 68 or 69?

Hi all, i'm new to the site - love it.... and I'm trying to figure out for 69 Camaro's, how can you tell if they were built in 68 or 69 given the production was pushed out in 1969 because of the delay of the 1970... ie.. if the trim tag shows 09C, how can I tell if that was Sept 68 OR Sept 69 - especially since they reset the fisher body sequence number back to 100000 in Aug 69.

I'm very new at this stuff and learning as I go...... thanks

Simplest answer, Check the VIN.

Early NOR tags won’t have X codes.

Thanks, any idea roughly when the NOR cars started having X codes on the trim tags?
