Their starting 'price' of 25,000 seemed a bit HIGH to me for a car needing a complete restoration (although the bones looked pretty good in the pix - it still has a CE engine of indeterminate origin or internals)...  but I do like silver cars also.. :)

but it should have made Bullitt feels very good to see it.. :)

I agree with Cook, center fuel gauge is cool.

So how do you guys feel about CE replacement blocks ? I know they could be considered more correct, but

looking at cars that have sold, seems on par with having  DZ 302 from another car. Your thoughts?

It would be the same to me..  Neither are assembly line correct so it doesnt add or take away value.

IF you consider that the CE engine was replaced under warranty which came with the original car, then in that instance, perhaps the CE is MORE correct (factory original?) than an engine taken from another car - even with the DZ stamp - many years later.   But..  I think if you were to resell the car, either situation is going to BITE YOU....

I am of the opinion that the CE block would hold the same value for a 69Z as a DZ from another car. I think if you were to re-sell such a car either block would add value over a 350, or any other NOM block, since both the CE and the NOM DZ are closer to way the car left the factory, and the 302 is the main feature of the Z. Of course the original matching numbers blocks would make the car worth the most.
