1969 Z trim tag real?

So,  I was on ebay, and saw this car.

I like the color of this 69 Z, But when I looked at the trim tag.., it looked kinda funny (fake) to me.
I would like to get some other options though

I noticed that too Gary.   I haven't seen a build date so far out from the cars production date like that.  Built in July and the engine sat there until September?   I've seen cast dates ahead of the car a bit (not as bad as this one though)  but never the build date.

Doesn't say numbers matching but with a cast date of Feb and a build date of July, I'd be skeptical the block is a restamp anyway.   Ad mentions car was inspected by a well known Camaro expert and verified the tag, POP, etc....  But no mention of who...hmm

I do like the car overall, nice color combo and some money spent on the resto.  Would be a fun car to enjoy and drive without worry if you could buy it right.

I wish these professional restoration people would learn to leave the stripes off of the truck lid edge on a D80 car.

LOL, yeah, but at least that little mistake is very easy and cheap to correct.   It's the cars that have the stripes totally off in width and placement that drive me crazy because the correction gets more involved and expensive.   At least these stripes appear to be in the right location, with correct dimensions as best I can tell from the pics.

From my experience.  Yes.  Kurt, William or whoever can jump in and decide but that is my opinion.

I know we aren't on this forum to give tips on faking documentation, so I would hate to ask any questions for answers that would be used as guidance. But when I looked at the pop pics and compared to my own pop, I couldn't find a single difference to give me pause. I'm no expert. But now I'm very curious!
