yes i made a couple mistakes thank you skinnier and taller letters also letters dont bulge  these are etched into the metal
let see what happens with the next one im trying to get thinner material also the only thing that im confused is that yours is angled more on one side then the next side or this emblem has to look straight going down on both sides about how much lower than the top of door 1" or11/4" 11/2"lower than top of console door and then i can cut the angle i need on both sides to make it look straight going down

The two top and two bottom angles should be the same degrees.

Hi if you look at your original picture you posted the right side top says tone bottom front- rear look at the angle of the side then look at the left side top says volume bottom balance do you see the difference on the angles  from top to bottom is that the way it has to be does that follow the lines of the console door because console door goes from top to bottom narrower or do they have to be the same angle as the one on the right more angle or the one on left less angle. The top of the label how far is it down from the top of console door it looks to me from other pictures about

It's definitely the way it mounts on the 1966 Impala with multiplex and I would imagine the same with the 68 Camaro. See attached original ad from March 1966 National Geographic. It's a 1966 Caprice but mounts the same as the Impala.

Yes you are right that is the way it gets mounted im sorry im talking about the sides ts this label suppose to be square or both sides angle in toward the bottom

Yes, trapezoid, larger on top than bottom, it is not a square or rectangle
