Chick, it was great finally seeing your masterpiece, along with you, Skip, Jon, Grady, Mike and a host of other members. Thanks for bringing the car it really stood out, and was worth the time and effort you invested.

Have a great Thanksgiving.....

Oh my, thanks for the kind words Steve and yes agree it was great seeing many of the CRG members along with other car friends from Canada, CA, etc.... I was very impressed with the quality of cars utilizing the Vintage Team services and it seem to get better and better each year. Great crop of cars Steve! Wish our car would have been in the main hall vs. a side area but we had a lot of visitors. :) And very cool obtaining a Celebrity Award along with Gold Restoration Concours.
And to you and your family Steve and all members & families "Happy Thanksgiving."

Thank You! It was just how it fell I guess as the bulk of cars are in the main area and there are still a lot of cars not. We were for sure not the only car that could have been in the main hall so no issues on our part as its a great show!
What was screwed up was I was told Friday morning we were to be in the main section with other 67-69 Camaro's but 6PM on Friday was put in a total different area which was called zone 5. Again, it worked OK and we had a lot of visitors and even repeat visitors who brought other visitors. I'd do it all over again even though we have a 12 hour trek to the show. :) Tremendous work to bring in all those cars between Thursday and Friday so hats off to the organizers.

Thank You! Bill, the weather was great when we arrived Thursday (73 degrees) and Friday was above temps but rainy. Saturday the temps dropped significantly and Sunday it was around mid teens with the wind chill early morning but dry. We drove the car out of the building and loaded up and were on our way by 6PM. Pretty good for sure!

Considering the quality of your restoration Chick, I'm amazed that your car wouldn't warrant the highest of preferred spots in the show.. Guess from what you were saying that is indeed what the return visitors were in fact demonstrating as well!  Beautiful finished product..   Randy
