Was this a real factory option? How popular was it?

  Does anyone have pictures of it mounted in their car?

This was not a factory installed RPO but rather a typical dealership over the counter opportunity to purchase item. They would be happy to sell you one and install it during one of your service visits. Mud flaps too.

I have one of these in the original box with the paperwork and mounting and original screws. I can post pics of the instructions or whatever you want, just let me know if you are interested in seeing anything from the original box.
