1967 Camaro SS 350 Convertible - Antenna and Radio
« on: June 22, 2016, 11:28:21 PM »
I recently purchased a 67 SS 350 convertible, (4P trim tag) and there is no antenna hole in either the front or rear. The car does have an aftermarket radio and an under dash antenna. Did dealers sell any Camaros without radios and antennas if they weren't factory installed? I would like to install an original AM/FM radio, but I don't know the correct location to install the antenna. (I've seen both front and rear in pictures). Is there a correct antenna location? Also, this car does not have a rear spoiler. Thanks for your time.

Radios were an option, so no radio = no antenna.  The rear mount antenna was also an option, but only available with an AM radio.  Since you want to add an AM/FM radio, the antenna needs to go on the right fender to be technically correct.  Yes, no '67 Camaro came from the factory with a rear spoiler.  You're welcome, Dan.
