Rally Wheels (ZJ9) & Z11's

Did ALL Z11's (either the Z11's participating in the 1969 Indy 500 event or later replicas) only come from the factory with 15 inch Rally Wheels? Why I ask is that I am looking at a Z11 and it and several others that I have seen / looked at have 14 inch Rally Wheels.

14 Inch. Only Z's or COPO's which ordered 15 wheels special came with 15's.

Of course, if you're looking at one of the two Camaros built to actually pace the 1969 Indianapolis 500, they will have 15" rally wheels.

Paul: Thanks. I am looking at a Z11 pace car replica. So only the two Indy 500 pace cars had 15 inch rally wheels. Would that also be true for the "show finish" Indy 500 pace car given to Mario Andretti, 14 or 15 inch rally wheels?

Mario Andretti was provided a production Z11 that made its way to Sweden in the '70s. Looked to have standard 14 x 7 wheels in the photos.

You're right, Gary.  A Z11 with factory JL8 would have had 15" wheels.

I don't know if there are any in the CRG database, but I looked at a wrecked Z11 in 1980 and it had JL8.  I don't know if it was a factory install or not.
