Anyone got some some pic's of a original 68 trunk???  Seems almost every pic I see is of a 69 and the ones that aren't don't have the filler neck cover in the shot >:(  Just need to know if it's splattered too and if so is the mounting screw splattered and is the latch support splattered behind where the cover installs?

Jerry, would you know if anyone is distributing this product up here in Canada? I went for a longshot today and tried my local GM Dealership for the splatter paint that was previously posted here....not even on their Radar anymore....thanks in advance for your help.

The GM paint is still obtainable. 1051499 for black/aqua   1051498 for gray/white

Chris.....I have a 07C 1968 Norwood car.  Haven't had a chance to get to the garage with the camara but I did go by and look.  It has a coating of black and white speckle and the gas filler cover is speckled but the screw looks like a regular phosphate one and it appears to be speckled behind the filler tube as well.

So you are saying that the trunk and cover where spatter painted at the same time  then the cover was installed later  in the production process. Does anyone know where the cover was actually spatter painted ( in the trunk on a wire or off line)?
What color is the back of the cover? Some % of black or body primer?

All of the ones I have observed had spatter paint on them, so Chevrolet must have been painting them. I will see if I can dig up some pictures of the original ones I have around here that are not restored...................RatPack.......................

It's close, and dries rock hard, but being that it is being sprayed from a can and not a gun the pattern is way off so it looks totally different.

Really appreciate all the help from from everyone so far!!!
