Starter and Engine build date

Could the starter be dated later than the Engine build date?
Eg. My engine build date is Jan 16 69 and my starter date is Jan 30 69.
Is this possible?

 Yes, I believe the starter was installed on the engine dress line when the car was being built.
So it can be after the motor was assembled and before the car's trim tag date.

MikeS answer is correct;

in fact, JohnZ in the past has posted that the starter could be as late as a few days/week before the car's completion date (if you know that)...

The build date for the car is 02A Feb 5 1969.

Reading that process, one sees that the engine dress items  ("plug wires, coil, engine harness, battery cables, carburetor, pulleys, alternator, starter, fan and clutch, A/C compressor, power steering pump, transmission cooler lines and fill tube, A.I.R. pump, diverter valve and air manifolds, drive belts, dipstick and tube, oil filter, engine and transmission mounts, PCV plumbing, vacuum fittings, fuel pump and fuel line, radiator hoses, and (if applicable) the transmission-mounted 4-speed manual shifter and linkage was installed and adjusted" and fluids added after engine and trans were mated.  From there "the completed engine/transmission assembly was conveyed to the Chassis Line for installation in the subframe."

Based on the car assembly rate of over 900 per day, I'd assume the starter and other engine peripherals were pulled from their crates for assembly either the same day, or perhaps the day before, the car completion date (depending on how many assemblies were on the lines at a time).   How many days prior to that the starter was mfg'd would vary ...  but it could be very short from a few days to a week or two.
