Very nice looking car.
I have seen that car for sale, for the past year, maybe last 2 years (and that is just when I started looking). So it is either an old ad, or IMO he is asking to much.
It may go for close to that at Mecum or barrett, but I think the price is a bit steep.

Would the sub frame have been painted by the factory?

I've never heard of a 1st gen that didn't have the subframe painted from the factory.
If this car is legit 7,500 miles and in fact a survivor, it is beautiful. I've never seen a floor bottom so clean and the engine orange on the pan is like it was sprayed yesterday. Brake booster and jack are like new. Considering the prices I've seen for lesser cars that aren't original, I don't think the price is out of line. Do I think it's crazy money? Yes, but not out of line relative to other prices. Find another 67 Z that's so clean with 7500 miles. Not many...

Looks like the engine has been painted more recent than 1967. Also, the booster, air cleaner, wire harness etc appear replaced to me. Some items appear restored. Neat car, but I thought Jerry M had the lowest mileage 67 Z on record at 13000 miles.

Alot of cars that were restored in the 80s and 90s are now popping up as survivors.

The booster is a reproduction judging from how sharp the triangle edges are. The check valve is a replacement.
Very nice car though.

I agree...as well as 'Barn finds'. That seems to be a buzz word these days.

Jon Mello's old 67 Z28 was by far the nicest best preserved 67 Z I had ever seen, headers with all the installation instructions, mountain green with gold interior.
