help with motor vin

i have a engine in truck coverd in grease wiped off air cleaner and it said turbofire 300 horsepower
i did not clean off rest of it and lika moron through it away it was hard to work around.
it has race flag tin valve covers slipper skirted flattop pistons
cast 2442 crank  pink rods bored 30 over called original owner said it was some kind of vette motor.
he had chevrolet install factory rebuild
3970010 casting 2 bolt mains 350 stroke/
203 rochester early iron manafold
in quarter inch 19L533203
over top of that 1\2 inch numbers V1027 DRL

CHEVY install  it in 76 blazer along with 2 1\4 inc exaust and automatic
its very strong
any body know what it was out of originaly?
any help would be apreciated never seen 300 horse truck engine

The block stamping (DRL) was assigned to 1979 350/170 hp 4B, AT, CE  in FS passenger and Camaro...
CE means California Emissions; your VIn indicates LA assembly for a 1979 Camaro or passenger car.  The 2 bolt mains and '010' block is consistent with that.  I'd guess the pink rods (assuming you mean HD rods) were installed when the engine was rebuilt.

thanks i was i was sure it was 68 block just says gm 48 on back clock day nightshift 
J148 no 5.7 350
they  sure dressed it up cool lol
its way more powerful than other 76 blazer with good wrench motor
thought it was original 400 for years thought 19L533203  WAS 69 CAMARO numbers

maybe valve covers belonged i have two camaros in my neiborhood 76 and 78 t top and a black z28
 with spoilers they both have dead engines  getting close to prying owners fingers off of them lol

you have a incredible list of chevys good god those are awsome cars idd die to take
  a 69 z28 to a trans am race.
had a 68 javelin it was a blast but still working on my first camaro
