Outer Fuzzies 2015...

I have a set of NOS outer rear quarter window fuzzies for my car, but I still need the ones for the doors. I don't have a spare $500 for NOS so I'm going A/M. Can you buy just the door outer fuzzies or do you have to buy the 4 pc kit? All the websites are terrible for their descriptions of the fuzzies and they don't have clear pictures. I need the ones like GM p/n 7729998.
I've narrowed it down to either Re-Pops or PUI and I'm leaning towards PUI. It looks like I came up with a p/n 0235-10 from Jegs and p/n C-10710-22A from NPD. They appear to be the same 4 piece set, but it's hard to tell and I'd rather order these once...
Any current thoughts on outer door fuzzies? I know all the older threads have complaints about the lack of rounded chrome and thin fuzzy material.

From what I've been reading, current production Repop brand felts are the closest.

Repop is the brand name. They are supposed to be the best/most accurate. I was leaning towards PUI because I thought they were basically the same and I was finding them locally a lot easier. Saves on shipping... I'm working on a good deal right now with someone that is hooking me up with a full set of Repops for short money, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I like the Repops brand.  Not perfect, but very close.

I've ordered a full set "Camaro Coupe Deluxe Felt Window Kit 8pc" CA172A, I'll let you know what I think. I have some pieces NOS, so I didn't need the full set - but it will give me an opportunity to compare those pieces in the set to NOS parts.

My order was canceled.  The supplier didn't have the set they were selling and Repops says they don't have the material to make more fuzzies. I don't know how long that will be an issue. I'll check other suppliers.

While stumbling through all of the outer fuzzy posts here and other websites, I found something posted by Sauron67MM here that impacts any of us that have used aftermarket quarters.

The short of it is, the quarter panel holes where the rear quarter fuzzies attach are not in the same locations as the holes on the originals quarters - which makes it appear that the new fuzzies have less rubber flap or just don't fit correctly.
I have AMD quarters down at the body shop and an NOS set of rear fuzzies, this is something that will be best corrected prior to putting the quarters on. Hopefully this isn't an issue anymore with the aftermarket quarters! I have an NOS quarter sitting in my barn to do some comparisons too.

This issue has been discussed at length. Scott is definitely a man in the know. Do yourself a favor though and don't do anything until you've compared the felts and how they fit. I think you'll find that it isn't always an issue and you might get lucky or dodge being unlucky is more appropriate.

WTS-1058 is the part# I ordered from HBC 12/6/15. Was told a couple week backorder. All I need is driver's side...if poor fit and finish, old one going back on.  Been a little tore up for 30years, guess I can live with it.

Were you able to source some? I received the Repops brand felts I bought from someone and they must be the older version. The outers aren't too bad other than not having rolled ends, but the inners are terrible. The chrome pieces are oval shaped and much bigger than my originals. Luckily my original inners are perfect and I only really needed the front outers. I'll sell the rest to someone that isn't as worried about originality. The mounting positions are all identical to the originals and the felt is nice.

No I haven't found another source. I have the outer rear quarters NOS, I only need the front outers as well. My originals that came off are actually in decent shape, some bends I can fix, and a little rust could be sanded and painted, rubber and bead is fine, but the fuzzy part is bad. Has anyone ever tried to just replace the fuzzy part of an outer, where would that material come from?

I keep dreaming that a set of just front outers NOS will magically appear on EBAY for a reasonable price.
