Rare color as we all know. I wonder if it is all legit. Looks like the car revolver from that RK place. The people that REFUSE to post pictures of pertinent info. Never seen a cowl tag so BURIED with paint/goop. Can't even make out the numbers/lettering. Might be hiding something? Is this car in the DB ?.. Danny

Looks as though the grille surround isn't painted.

If you read the description on the papers in picture area it says the car was freshened up by RK motors. It still surprises me that what appears to be a high dollar resto, would still have the deck lid edge painted incorrectly. I am not saying this car is 100% correct, but you can see the decklid edge is incorrect from 20 feet away.

The car has been around. Not sure how much of drivetrain is original.

Lots of details not correct. I'll give them an easy one to fix. The grille emblem location is off

I also seen the grill emblem to far to the left. And a few other things are there I'm sure. I just wonder if she is in the DB and what we know about her. Kurt will jump in soon... D

The rear stripes are WAY too close together besides being on the decklid edge...

Either spoiler was added or that's not how it was painted by GM.

I had a February built '69 Z from the LOS plant that I owned back in the '70s. Pics from the original owner showed the car in his driveway brand new with no plates and the stripes ran all the way down the back lip of the trunk lid under the spoiler. I saw a fair number of other LOS Z in that timeframe with the stripes done the same way. I don't think what applies to Norwood Zs can be absolutely applied to LOS cars and this stripe issue deserves a closer look. I do agree that the stripes on this black Z are too close together for a January car. In the first couple of months of production it's true that they were closer together.
