Here's a '69 Z, this is at Lions Drag Strip, logo on the side says "Beach City Chevrolet" where they in Long Beach,

California ? sponsored some funny cars ? Sorry for the size found this image years ago on Worthpoint, came across it clearing

some old files on my computer. Looks like spoiler delete car ?

Mike

Beach City Chevrolet was in California. I grew up in North Long Beach and Lions Drag Strip was awesome.

Here's a '67 SS/RS converible at a dealers in the UK, is that a 327 logo on the fender ?

Looks like a right hand drive conversion.

That's a pretty cool photo! I agree on the 350 because of the seemingly SS items. It sure looks like it's new in the showroom!

Thanks boomer & MO for the info re: SS option and 350 engine.

Would the right hand drive conversion be done state side or in the UK ?

As far as I know, cars were converted by an importer or local builder that specialized in such after overseas delivery.

The track picture, Dick Harrell is to the right. Fred Gibb in the middle and not sure about the guy to the left.

Very cool pic! I hope those kids are all still friends! Yes, the Camaro looks like Butternut Yellow with Gold interior, possibly Yellow.

the way the driver is looking, the  other car must be ahead, or in his mirror.
