Hey guys-
I bought my first 1st gen Camaro a few months ago - a 69 Z/28 which, although in need of a restoration at some point, is a highly original car. To my knowledge the body has never been touched except for a repaint. I'm still learning the nuances of these cars and have a question is about the rear body panel. There are 2 small sheet metal screws between the LH taillight lens and the Z/28 emblem, about an inch below the trunk opening and spaced about 4 inches apart. From what I can see inside the trunk, the screws don't seem have a function. Are these factory or an indication that some body work has been done?
Thanks,
