Darrel is right.. with the heat we have down south, get a little rain and the lawn grows ballistically!
It's going to be cool tomorrow (ony 91F expected), so maybe I'll get more work done than today.. wiring and insulating.. up and down ladders... itching from the fg...
Jano... the Kubota is my son in law's.. who is my contractor on the garage shell construction; he spread my dirt pile yesterday and ran over it with the Harley rake (which does a fabulous job even in damp soil)..
Austin: Yes, I HOPE to have a heat pump for AC and heat (if I can afford it after all the other expenses). I'm also putting in a 'whole house attic fan' which hopefully will keep it workable in fall and spring temps.
Other amenities? not much... lotsa light (eight double 8' fluorescents), a built in work bench and storage shelves, R30 ceiling insulation, R13 walls, white walls/ceiling, gray Epoxy floor. and I think I'm really going to like the side porch with OH fan...
I have a 4 post lift at my other shop (2 mi away) - I do my dirtiest work - ie sandblasting, paint, etc there. I hope to do light mechanical, upholstery, assembly, etc in this new shop and store cars in my basement garage.
