69 Z/28 trans with "matching numbers"
« on: June 20, 2015, 07:07:13 PM »
Faint VIN on the trans above the date. Also, the assembly date stamp and the new VIN??  It is supposedly  "An all Matching numbers Z28 Camaro. Complete frame off restoration and looks terrific. The 4 speed manual transmission and the 302 V8 are the originals and are number matching."

Makes you wonder what else has been misrepresented. Trim tag look okay? Fathom Green(57 57), black custom interior(712)
VIN 124379N622660

Nowadays 'numbers matching' means...   AFTER they have changed all the numbers! ...

that's totally different than 'factory original'...
