Is it a true 1969 RS ?

HELP!

As you can see, I am a newbie and I need someone to tell me if there is anyway I can tell from any #'s on my car if it is an original 1969 RS. It has hidden headlights, rear backup lights below the bumper, etc...I just wondered, being new to the Camaro World, if there is any #'s on the car that would give me more clues.

I just went through the same exercise with my '68.  See "1968 Body" discussion under Originality.  Also see http://www.camaros.org/numbers.shtml (decode) at this site to find where your numbers are located and how to decode them.  From what I've just learned, the headlight doors and rear backup light location suggest it's an RS.  Tail lights should be all red and the headlight doors should be vacuum operated (vs. electric).  I believe the '69 came with headlight washers also.  (The members on this site are very helpful and will be able to give you more details.)
