Ditto. These engines get away with it thanks to the camshaft bleeding off a fair amount of low speed cylinder pressure. .050 duration numbers are healthy and the LSA is spread out pretty far on the stock cam.
However the tune has to be spot on with proper AFR's and I like to keep timing at no more than 36 total with a "not to aggressive" curve. On top of that I like to keep engine temps as low as feesable. When on the edge ambient temps can start playing a roll.
My only complaint is these cars not having a return style fuel system. Couple that with ethanol blend fuels that are more prone to vapor lock, and you can sometimes have a car that doesn't like the heat of the day. The higher octane helps here, but there are other tricks I do to fight this scenario if it becomes a problem.
