283, 327 & 302 were small journal.  350 large.

I assume you are talking 67.

There was only two years (68-9) of large journal 327's.
I think I am wrong - there were some hi-po (L79) 327's in 68. I thought they had gone to 350's but that happened in 69.

In 1968 models, one could get a 325 hp 327 in Chevelles (and maybe Novas?), and the L79 in Corvettes were rated at 350 hp (327 ci)..

The car is definitely a real 350 SS. Every bit of chrome offered, SS hood, yes 2 fuel lines, 12 bolt, multi leafs, even the " O MY GOD" bar above the glove box .... electric trunk release and right rear fender mounted antennae. The trunk release almost seems to be original, is that possible??

Trunk release was a dealer add-on or could be a Firebird part.
