were there any camaros with headrests built in 68. ive seen option for 67 and  69 but not any for 68

Yes head rests were optional for 1968.

RPO AS2 --Look at the options spreadsheet in CRG (very helpful and informative).  You'll find it under OPTIONS on the menu at the top of this page.  ;D
