« on: February 06, 2015, 03:36:50 AM »
I like the Daytona yellow cars. Everyone should own a car from Catsexotics  ::)
The important things don't look rite to me but good looking car.
GM Canada docs??  I've never seen any before, are these what you get?

Did the number 2 have that curve at the base and the letter I looks crooked?
The broach marks look almost hand made.

Nice car however!

Looks like this car has quite the reputation. William flagged this car five years ago.
I thought I smelled a rat!

Everyone loves documentation but it can also be used to recreate cars like this car and the rallye green rs/z at BJ.

The more of these cars I see, the more I realize how lucky I am to have the Z I have, even though it's not any kind of show winner. At least it's real.

X2 Jimmy,   Mine may just be a rolling chassis with parts boxed away on the shelf  :)  But it's all there and real !

The Docs shown are copies or forged. The ones shown are the old style before forging them became common. Original old style came with a personal letter From George Zaporo with to the requester with his name included also. The GM logo was blue with a red line around with a red maple leaf. It is obvious from the format how easy it would be to add options.
My docs are from a previous owner from 2004.  I have not seen the new ones but they come with security features that make them extremely difficult to forge. If you are looking at a car with " Canadian Documents" It would be well worth the phone call to GM Canada Vintage Vehicle Services to check if they are real.
