The placard said that it was the only documented X11 Z28... and it also had the original DZ engine which was a rare 'M date coded' block. When I first saw this plaque and read it at last year's nationals, I was very dubious on all that as it conflicted with what I believed to be 'correct', but later I had opportunity to talk with him at great length (hours), and see his original photos and documentation from when he bought the car 20+ yrs before, and I became a believer. It's interesting to conjecture how a body initially coded by Fisher as an X11 car, came to be completed as a Z28 by Norwood assembly...
The owner, Al Krebs, owns a body and paint shop business in NJ (K&H Automotive), and is a great guy to talk to (as is his wife who has been there with him both years). and his car is beautiful; a Nov '69 built car, that also has some of the late year components on it, as does mine.
